STATE BUDGET UPDATE
The 2009-10 Budget Bill amendments passed by the legislature on July 24, 2009 and the Governor’s additional $489 million line item vetoes, along with implementing legislation has had a devastating affect on our system of IHSS services. These confusing and difficult changes have become known as “IHSS Reform Legislation” and have made significant changes to the way IHSS recipients receive services, and the way providers will be paid.
